We are pleased to invite you to participate in the 3rd WIM-PIB conference in the series "Contemporary mental health crises in the Polish Army".
The mental health of soldiers is one of the foundations of the readiness and resilience of modern armed forces. Effective support for those experiencing mental health crises requires not only specialized knowledge but also collaboration between the medical and psychological communities, commanders, and those responsible for shaping systemic solutions. This year's conference was designed as a platform for exchanging experiences and discussing solutions that strengthen soldiers' mental safety and organizational resilience. We focus on solutions and best practices that allow for more effective crisis prevention and better support for individuals and communities affected by them. We believe that combining the experiences of Polish specialists with the practices of NATO countries will inspire further development of prevention, postvention, and the use of innovative technologies to support mental health. The event is aimed at specialists involved in protecting soldiers' mental health, primarily military psychologists and psychiatrists, but also military chaplains and commanders. We hope that participating in the conference will be an opportunity not only to gain new knowledge but also to establish collaboration, exchange experiences, and jointly reflect on the development of military psychological and psychiatric care.
