As of August 31, 2026, Colonel Artur Bachta was released from professional military service on the basis of Decision No. 2935/DK of the Minister of National Defence of June 16, 2026.

Colonel Bakhta began his professional military service on August 16, 1996. He joined the Military Institute of Medicine on July 1, 2004, as an assistant. In subsequent years, as he developed professionally and scientifically, he served as a senior assistant and then as an assistant professor. From April 4, 2018, to July 13, 2026, he served as Deputy Director of the Military Institute of Medicine – Hospital Commander, responsible for the operation and development of the Institute's clinical section. The completion of his professional military service concludes more than 30 years of service for Colonel Artur Bakhta, including over 22 years of work and service to the Military Institute of Medicine.

In recognition of his outstanding achievements in military service, the Minister of National Defense, by Decision No. 3424/DK of July 13, 2026, awarded Colonel Artur Bachta the Honorary Blade – the "Honorary Sabre of the Polish Army ." In gratitude for his many years of service, commitment, and work for the Military Institute of Medicine, the Director of WIM-PIB also presented Colonel Artur Bachta with a commemorative gorget and a commemorative saber – as an expression of appreciation and gratitude for his years of service and contribution to the development of the Institute and Hospital.

Dear Mr. Colonel,

In connection with the end of my professional military service in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland, please accept the expressions of my deep respect and appreciation, as well as my sincere thanks for the years of dedicated and committed service to the Homeland.

I extend my special thanks to you for nearly ten years of serving as Commander of the Central Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of National Defence, Military Institute of Medicine. Your knowledge, experience, and commitment have had a significant impact on the hospital's development, the quality of its work, and patient safety. It is also thanks to your work and consistent pursuit of the highest standards that the Institute has achieved the highest accreditation results and certificates confirming compliance of its management systems with ISO standards. You leave behind an important and lasting legacy at the Military Institute of Medicine, one that deserves respect and gratitude.

As Director of the Military Medical Institute, I thank you for your responsible service, professionalism and concern for the well-being of the Institute and the people with whom you served and worked over the years.

I wish you good health, every success, personal fulfillment, and many reasons for satisfaction in this new phase of your life. May the experience and values you gained from your military service remain a source of strength and inspiration as you pursue your future plans and endeavors.
