Dear children, you are IMPORTANT to us, that is why:

  • tell us how you want to be addressed
  • You also have the right to know who is treating you, you can ask what the name of your attending physician is
  • You also have the right to know what your treatment involves – you can ask us about its progress at any time.
  • We will treat you gently, and in case of unpleasant activities, we will inform you about them, so as to give you some time to prepare. Remember that sometimes we have to act quickly to save your life and health.
  • We will always ask you for your choice if possible, so that you feel important and respected, and your feelings are important, so if you need a hug, for example, feel free to tell us about it, we need your consent for a hug
  • If you need emotional support, a child psychologist is available to help you cope with the stress and anxiety associated with hospitalization
  • If you stay with us for more than one day, you can be accompanied by one of your parents or grandparents.
  • so that you don't feel lonely, you can have your favorite toy with you - one that will improve your mood but won't disturb others
  • If something bad happened to you, before or during your hospital stay, tell one of us – asking for help is a great courage and we are here to help you
  • Please remember that even if we are unable to talk to you at a given moment, we will try to do so later or ask another clinic staff member – there are days when we have a lot of sick children with us, and we have to act quickly to save them.
