Specialization training at WIM-PIB

A physician referred to undergo specialization training at the Military Institute of Medicine is obliged to inform the Department of Postgraduate Education of Physicians about the commencement of specialization training by providing a specialization training card, referral and a statement from the head of specialization - in order to confirm the commencement of specialization, within 14 days from the date of receipt of the referral to undergo specialization.

A physician assigned to undergo specialization training under a civil law contract at the Military Institute of Medicine is obliged to inform the Department of Postgraduate Education of Physicians:

1) about the commencement of specialization training by submitting a specialization training card, referral and a statement from the specialization manager – in order to confirm the commencement of specialization, within 14 days from the date of receipt of the referral to undergo specialization,
2) provide the following documents in order to conclude a contract for specialization training:

2 x photocopies of the license to practice as a doctor/dentist (original available for inspection),
2 x photocopies of the university diploma (original available for inspection),
2 x photocopies of the compulsory third party liability insurance policy (original available for inspection, updated annually),
2 x photo.

A physician referred to undergo specialist training as part of a residency at the Military Institute of Medicine is obliged to inform the Department of Postgraduate Medical Education about the commencement of specialist training by providing the specialist training card, a copy of the referral and a statement from the head of the specialization - in order to confirm the commencement of the specialization, within 14 days of the commencement of the specialization.

Every doctor undergoing specialist training at the Military Institute of Medicine is obliged to inform the Department of Postgraduate Medical Education:

1) about the change of the head of specialization;
2) about changing the place of specialization;
3) about changing the mode of specialization;
4) on each extension of the specialization period;
5) about changes in name, residential and correspondence address;
6) about changing employment conditions;
7) on completion of specialization training, within 7 days from the date of passing the specialization by the head of the specialization (entry on the last page of the card).
