Handling requests and complaints related to accessibility
Everyone has the right to request the digital accessibility of a website, mobile application, or any element thereof. Information may also be requested through an alternative access method, for example, by reading a digitally inaccessible document, describing the content of a video without audio description, etc. The request should include the data of the requesting party, an indication of the website or mobile application in question, and a contact method. If the requesting party requests information through an alternative access method, they should also specify a convenient way to present this information. The public entity should fulfill the request promptly, no later than seven days from the date of the request. If this deadline cannot be met, the public entity shall immediately inform the requesting party when it will be possible to fulfill the request, but this deadline cannot be longer than two months from the date of the request. If ensuring digital accessibility is not possible, the public entity may propose an alternative method of accessing the information. If a public entity refuses to comply with a request for accessibility or an alternative means of accessing information, the requesting party may file a complaint regarding the digital accessibility of a website, mobile application, or element of a website or mobile application. After exhausting the above-mentioned procedure, a complaint may also be filed with the Commissioner for Human Rights.
We will respond to your application as soon as possible, no later than within 7 days of receiving it.
If this deadline is too short for us, we will inform you about it. In this information, we will provide a new deadline by which we will correct the errors you reported or prepare the information in an alternative way. This new deadline will not be longer than 2 months.
If we are unable to ensure the digital accessibility of the website or content you submitted, we will offer you access to it in an alternative way.

Entry to the hospital premises in Warsaw is through three entrance gates;
1. Gate No. 1 from Szaserów Street, open 24 hours a day.
2. Gate No. 2 from Garwolińska Street, open Monday to Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 16:00 p.m.

The main parking lot is located at the entrance to the hospital through Gate No. 1.
As part of the Accessibility Plus program, a barrier-free sidewalk and parking spaces, including those for people with disabilities, have been created, allowing access to the main entrance to the hospital building from Szaserów Street. The main entrance has been equipped with automatic doors enabling disabled access. The main entrance to the hospital building features a medical information desk and a ramp for people with disabilities. Corridors and connecting passageways have been equipped with handrails to ensure a secure grip for all users.
As part of the above-mentioned program, the existing stairs were rebuilt – the descent from the medical information center at the Military Medical Institute (WIMP-PIB) to the Admissions Room and Emergency Room – to stairs made of rough, non-slip materials, as well as a new ramp for disabled people.
The main hospital building has six entrances, with elevators located directly in the entrance, providing vertical access to the individual floors and clinics and departments. Each building also has designated parking spaces for people with disabilities.
At the entrance to Building No. 31, two parking spaces for disabled vehicles have been designated, and the entrance also features a ramp for disabled access. Accessible restrooms are located on the ground floor and first floor in the hallway. Two elevators are located in the building, allowing disabled people to access both vertically and via the hallway to the main hospital building.
Communication and information accessibility
Inside the buildings, offices and rooms are marked with signs. Each floor is identified by its floor number. In the Main Building, there is a patient information desk where staff can provide information about the layout of the rooms and buildings.
WIM-PIB provides a free sign language interpreter service available on the website www.wim.mil.pl, daily from 8:00 a.m. to 20:00 p.m.
